My good intentions to update regularly…. didn’t make it past the first post! However now the laptop seems to magically working again, instead of giving me the good old Blue Screen of Death *crosses fingers* and I have now done all the remaining lesson planning here we go!
This is the commission I was procrastinating on for the last post. It’s for a lady I work with. She asked for white hydrangeas and roses in just white and green as they where her wedding flowers and colours, The only answer to that was to using a limited palette! I used titanium white, permanent alizarin crimson, raw sienna, lemon yellow, phthalo blue and phthalo green.
Currently I am fine tuning the background as it’s far to dark – went in with a heavy handed assumption that darkness against white flowers would be best! – and add some details on the star of the show.
